Update to record videos

We are currently testing a software update that will enable us to record videos of people having their temperature measured. The reason we are doing this is to collect a wide variety of videos so we can improve the reliability of our algorithms in different environments, across a range of body shapes. We are also trying to improve the speed at which you see a temperature.

The videos we are collecting are thermal videos that are very difficult to recognise individuals from, so we don't believe there won't be any privacy concerns. You can see an example video below. However, please let us know if you would prefer that your camera doesn't upload videos. We intend to collect videos over about a week, after which time we will disable the recording.

So, probably later this week or early next week you will see a notification on your camera that there is a software update. If you are running the beta version of our software you will see the update earlier.
